In support of his request, the applicant provides copies of his AF Form 899 and a copy of his DD Form 214. His complete submission, with attachments, is at Exhibit A. ________________________________________________________________ _ STATEMENT OF FACTS: According to the DD Form 214 provided by the applicant, he enlisted into the Regular Air Force on 19 Mar 70 and was honorably discharged on 13 Dec 73 after serving 3 years, 8 months, and 24 days on active duty. Insufficient relevant evidence has been presented to demonstrate the existence of error or injustice. We took careful notice of the applicant’s complete submission in support of his request and the evidence of record in judging the merits of the case and believe that the applicant did not submit sufficient evidence to overcome the presumption of regularity concerning his Vietnam service. Therefore, in the absence of persuasive evidence to the contrary, we find no basis to recommend granting the relief sought in this application. ________________________________________________________________ _ THE BOARD DETERMINES THAT: The applicant be notified that the evidence presented did not demonstrate the existence of material error or injustice; that the application was denied without a personal appearance; and that the application will only be reconsidered upon the submission of newly discovered relevant evidence not considered with this application. ________________________________________________________________ _ The following members of the Board considered AFBCMR Docket Number BC-2013-01420 in Executive Session on 5 Nov 13, under the provisions of AFI 36-2603: , Panel Chair , Member , Member The following documentary evidence was considered: DD Form 149, dated 17 Mar 13, w/atchs.
