	The Board considered the following evidence:

	Exhibit A - Application for correction of military records.

	Exhibit B - Military Personnel Records (including advisory opinion, if any).


THE APPLICANT'S REQUEST, STATEMENT, AND EVIDENCE:

1.  The applicant requests reconsideration of his earlier request to correct his military records to show that he was discharged on 31 December 1982. 

2.  The applicant states that he disagrees with the decision of the Army Board for Correction of Military Records (ABCMR).

3.  The applicant provides a copy of electronic communications between the Chief, Combat Determination Team, a contractor, and the Deputy Chief, Combat Related Special Compensation Division, Office, Deputy Chief of Staff, Personnel, between 9 January and 2 May 2007.

CONSIDERATION OF EVIDENCE:

1.  Incorporated herein by reference are military records which were summarized in the previous consideration of the applicant's case by the ABCMR in Docket Number AR200700004629, on 12 April 2007.

2.  The content of the electronic communications provided by the applicant confirms that the applicant was retired for disability on 30 April1983 and that he does not qualify for combat-related special compensation (CRSC). 

DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSIONS:

1.  While it is clear that the applicant disagrees with the ABCMR's earlier decision, he has not provided any new evidence or argument to sufficiently mitigate that decision.

2.  In view of the above, the applicant's request should not be granted.

BOARD DETERMINATION/RECOMMENDATION:

The evidence presented does not demonstrate the existence of a probable error or injustice.  Therefore, the Board determined that the overall merits of this case are insufficient as a basis to amend the decision of the ABCMR set forth in Docket Number AR200700004629, dated 12 April 2007.
