BOARD DATE: 19 September 2017 DOCKET NUMBER: AR20170006167 THE BOARD CONSIDERED THE FOLLOWING EVIDENCE: 1. Application for correction of military records (with supporting documents provided, if any). 2. Military Personnel Records and advisory opinions (if any). THE APPLICANT'S REQUEST, STATEMENT, AND EVIDENCE: 1. The applicant requests removal of the college transcripts from Pierce College and North Central Institute from his official military personnel file (OMPF) in the Interactive Personnel Electronic Records Management System (iPERMS). 2. The applicant states he has transcripts in his OMPF from three different colleges and he wants the transcripts from Pierce College and North Central Institute removed because the credit hours were consolidated on his University of Maryland University College transcript. He wants these transcripts removed to ensure his enlisted record brief (ERB) is correct for board purposes. 3. The applicant provides: * University of Maryland University College transcript * Pierce College transcript * North Central Institute transcript CONSIDERATION OF EVIDENCE: 1. The applicant is a Regular Army Soldier serving in the rank/grade of staff sergeant/E-6. 2. The applicant's iPERMS record contains and he provides transcripts from the University of Maryland University College, Pierce College, and North Central Institute. 3. He provided no evidence of exhausting other administrative remedies. REFERENCES: Army Regulation 600-8-104 (Army Military Human Resources Record (AMHRR) Management) prescribes Army policy for the creation, utilization, administration, maintenance, and disposition of the OMPF. The AMHRR Management Program is an essential military personnel information management program responsible for the archiving and storage of data, information, and documents authorized for filing in the OMPF. Personnel information and documents that comprise the OMPF are processed into iPERMS for storage and future use. Appendix B, paragraph B-1a and b, requires the filing of all transcripts for enlisted personnel in the performance folder. DISCUSSION: The applicant’s record contains multiple transcripts showing credit hours from multiple institutions. Nevertheless, the governing regulation and iPERMS require the filing of all transcripts for enlisted personnel. The applicant’s transcripts are properly filed in his OMPF. //NOTHING FOLLOWS// ABCMR Record of Proceedings AR20150000953 Enclosure 1 ARMY BOARD FOR CORRECTION OF MILITARY RECORDS RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS ABCMR Record of Proceedings (cont) AR20170006167 2 ARMY BOARD FOR CORRECTION OF MILITARY RECORDS RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Enclosure 1 ABCMR Record of Proceedings (cont) AR20170006167 2 ARMY BOARD FOR CORRECTION OF MILITARY RECORDS RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Enclosure 2
