Docket No: 7572-20 Ref: Signature Date Dear : This is in reference to your application for correction of your naval record pursuant to Title 10, United States Code, Section 1552. A three-member panel of the Board for Correction of Naval Records (Board), sitting in executive session, considered your application on 1 March 2021. Documentary material considered by the Board consisted of your application together with all material submitted in support thereof, your naval record, applicable statutes, regulations, and policies. Upon review and consideration of the evidence of record, the Board determined that Special Court-Martial Order (SPCMO) Number 4-55 dated 28 January 1955, submitted with your request, belonged to a different individual with the same first and last name. Based on the foregoing, the Board was satisfied that the SPCMO that you found in your official military personnel file (OMPF) does not relate to you. The Board further determined that at no point in your Marine Corps career were you ever the subject of court-martial proceedings. However, the Board is currently in possession of the original, paper, version of your OMPF and confirms that it has reviewed each page of the OMPF and that the SPCMO is not currently in your OMPF. Therefore no further action is required by the Board. Lastly, you may use this letter as evidence that the misidentified SPCMO that you found in your OMPF did not belong to you. Sincerely,
