The applicant's record shows he received a GOMOR on 16 April 2009 for driving under the influence while attending the Maneuver Captains Career Course at Fort Benning, GA. 4. The applicant provides and his record contains a memorandum signed by the Commanding General, Headquarters, U.S. Army Infantry Center, Fort Benning, GA, dated 14 May 2009, that directed the applicant's GOMOR be filed in his Official Military Personnel File (OMPF), now known as the Army Military Human Resources Record (AMHRR). 5. Chapter 2 contains guidance on the preparation of the DD Form 214 and states for item 14, enter the formal in-service (full-time attendance) training courses successfully completed during the period of service covered by the DD Form 214 and include title, length in weeks, and year completed. DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSIONS: There is no evidence the applicant every completed the Infantry Officer Advanced Course. In fact, the applicant states he was dismissed from the course for disciplinary reasons. It appears the current entry in item 14 of his DD form 214 is the result of an administrative error.
