IN THE CASE OF: BOARD DATE: 13 October 2015 DOCKET NUMBER: AR20150002479 THE BOARD CONSIDERED THE FOLLOWING EVIDENCE: 1. Application for correction of military records (with supporting documents provided, if any). 2. Military Personnel Records and advisory opinions (if any). THE APPLICANT'S REQUEST, STATEMENT, AND EVIDENCE: 1. The applicant requests reconsideration of his previous request to correct item 11 (Primary Specialty) of his DD Form 214 (Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty) to show his military occupational specialty (MOS) as 94F (Computer/Detection System Repairer). 2. The applicant states the paperwork he provides shows he completed the 94F course. 3. The applicant provides: * DA Form 5286-1-R (Individual Training Record Basic Training, Advanced Individual Training (AIT), One Station Unit Training) * U.S. Army Ordnance Munitions and Electronics Maintenance School Certificate CONSIDERATION OF EVIDENCE: 1. Incorporated herein by reference are military records which were summarized in the previous consideration of the applicant's case by the Army Board for Correction of Military Records (ABCMR) in Docket Number AR20100024103, on 10 May 2011. 2. The applicant submitted two documents which were not previously considered by the Board; therefore, this is considered new evidence that warrants consideration by the Board. 3. The applicant enlisted in the Regular Army on 26 August 2009. 4. On 26 May 2010, he was honorably discharged under the provisions of chapter 13, Army Regulation 635-200 (Personnel Separations – Active Duty Enlisted Administrative Separations), due to unsatisfactory performance, inability to pass the Army Physical Fitness Test. The DD Form 214 he was issued shows in item 11 the entry "NONE." However, item 14 (Military Education) shows he completed the Computer/Detection System Repairer course in 2010. 5. A thorough review of his Army Military Human Resource Record failed to reveal sufficient evidence showing the applicant completed 94F training or was ever awarded MOS 94F. Additionally, there is no evidence showing he performed the duties of a 94F. 6. The applicant provides a DA Form 5286-1-R and a copy of his U.S. Army Ordnance Munitions and Electronics Maintenance School Certificate which indicate that he successfully completed the 94F course during the period 14 December 2009 through 29 April 2010. 7. Army Regulation 635-5 (Separation Documents), in effect at the time, prescribes the separation documents that must be prepared for Soldiers upon retirement, discharge, release from active duty service, or control of the Active Army. In part, it states to enter the titles of all MOS' served for at least 1 year and include for each MOS the number of years and months served. Do not count basic training and AIT. DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSIONS: 1. Although evidence indicates that he successfully completed the 94F course in April 2010, evidence shows he was honorably discharged in May 2010. The governing regulation clearly states to enter the titles of all MOS' served for at least 1 year and include for each MOS the number of years and months served (not counting basic training and AIT). 2. In light of the foregoing, it would appear he is not entitled to the requested relief.
