Incorporated herein by reference are military records which were summarized in the previous consideration of the applicant's case by the ABCMR in Docket Number AR20140017564 on 21 May 2015. 2. The applicant provides orders as new evidence that was not previously considered by the Board and warrants consideration at this time. 3. The applicant enlisted in the Regular Army on 20 June 2001. 4. Headquarters, U.S. Army Infantry Center, Permanent Orders 304-351, dated 31 October 2001, awarded him the Parachutist Badge and military occupational specialty 11B1P (Infantryman – Parachutist). 5. He provided: a.  Headquarters, 3d Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Permanent Orders 155-02, dated 4 June 2002, awarding him the Expert Infantryman Badge; b.  Headquarters, Task Force II, Permanent Orders 128-07, dated 8 May 2003, awarding him the Combat Infantryman Badge; c.  Headquarters, 3d Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, memorandum, dated 6 October 2003, subject: Request for Award of the Royal Thai Army Parachutist Badge, showing he and other Soldiers successfully completed foreign airborne operations with the Royal Thai Army; and d.  Headquarters, 75th Ranger Regiment, memorandum, dated 21 October 2003, subject: Acceptance and Wear of Foreign Badge, showing he and other Soldiers received authorization to accept and wear the Royal Thai Army Parachutist Badge. 6. He provided Headquarters Company, 75th Ranger Regiment, Permanent Orders 281-04, dated 17 September 2004, awarding him the Parachutist Badge with one bronze service star. 7. On 31 October 2004, he was honorably discharged. His DD Form 214 shows he was awarded the: * Global War on Terrorism Service Medal * National Defense Service Medal * Army Lapel Button * Army Service Ribbon 8. On 21 May 2015, the ABCMR partially granted his request. The Board denied his request for correction of his DD Form 214 to show his foreign service in Iraq and the addition of the awards listed in his reconsideration request. The Board directed correction of his DD Form 214 to show: a.  his foreign service in Afghanistan for the period 3 January 2004 through 3 April 2004 and b.  addition of the following awards: * Army Good Conduct Medal * Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal * Afghanistan Campaign Medal with one bronze service star * Parachutist Badge 9. On 9 June 2015, he was issued a DD Form 215 (Correction to DD Form 214) which implemented the Board's directive. REFERENCES: Army Regulation 635-5 (Separation Documents) ), in effect at the time, prescribed the separation documents that must be prepared for Soldiers upon retirement, discharge, or release from active duty or control of the Active Army. It also established standardized policy for preparing and distributing the DD Form 214. The instructions stated to list all awards and decorations for all periods of service. DISCUSSION: 1. Permanent orders awarded him the Expert Infantryman Badge, Combat Infantryman Badge, and Parachutist Badge with one bronze service star. 2.
