BOARD DETERMINATION/RECOMMENDATION:

2.  The Board determined that the evidence presented was sufficient to warrant amendment of the decision of the Army Board for Correction of Military Records set forth in Docket Number AR20150003382, dated 10 November 2015 by amending the BOARD DETERMINATION/RECOMMENDATION to add the following paragraphs:

e. Showing she was authorized travel from her home of record (an address 
on Navigate Point Lane, Houston, Texas 77044) to Fort Hood, Texas.

f. Showing she was authorized temporary lodging at the Fairfield Inn and 
Suites and at the La Quinta Inns and Suites in Killeen, Texas, from 08 May 2016 through 12 May 2016, at a total cost of $375.56 and reimbursing her for this lodging expense.

THE BOARD CONSIDERED THE FOLLOWING EVIDENCE:

1.  Application for correction of military records (with supporting documents provided, if any).

2.  Military Personnel Records and advisory opinions (if any).

CONSIDERATION OF ADDITIONAL EVIDENCE:

13.  On 13 May 2016, new information was received from the applicant and from the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) in regard to the decision of the Army Board for Correction of Military Records (ABCMR) in Docket Number AR20150003382, dated 10 November 2015.

14.  The evidence submitted consists of:

a. An email from the applicant requesting funding data to reinstate her back
on active duty for her permanent change of station (PCS) move and for her temporary lodging from her home of record (HOR) to her first duty station.

b. The Fairfield Inn and Suites and the La Quinta Inns and Suites lodging 
Receipts showing she was charged $375.56 for lodging from 8 May 2016 through 12 May 2016.

ADDITIONAL DISCUSSION:

3.  At the time of the decision of the ABCMR in Docket Number AR20150003382, dated 10 November 2015, it was the intent of the ABCMR to make the applicant’s record as administratively correct as it should properly have been at the time.

4.  The ABCMR's decision in Docket Number AR20150003382, dated 
10 November 2015, omitted funding authorization to pay the applicant to travel from her HOR (Houston, TX) to her first duty station in Fort Hood, TX, and to authorize payment for temporary lodging while pending official orders to return to active duty.
