The applicant states: * he requested point statements from National Personnel Records Center * he was given points for 1970 through 1971, 1972 through 1973, 1974 through 1975, and 1976 through 1977. * they did not give him his point statements for 1973 through 1974, 1975 through 1976, and 1977 through 1978 * he needs these documents to get a Veterans Affairs loan so he doesn't lose his home * he asks all of his point statements are sent to him * his DD Form 214 shows he started service on 22 March 1971 * his honorable discharge certificate shows he left the service on 21 November 1978 2. The applicant's records contain several documents dated within the years of 1973, 1974, 1976, 1977, and 1978. His personnel qualification record shows his unit of assignment from 22 November 1970 through 31 December 1975. 3. The records also contain evaluation reports from 1976 and 1977 and a reenlistment document wherein he reenlisted for 1 year on 21 November 1977. The applicant provides an honorable discharge certificate dated 21 November 1978. 4. U.S. Army Human Resources Command (HRC) letter, dated 28 September 2016 shows the applicant’s record was updated with a retirement point statement showing the following: 5. Army Regulation 140-185 (Training and Retirement Point Credits and Unit Level strength Accounting Records) provides a qualifying year of service for non-regular retired pay is a full year during which a Reserve component member is credited with a minimum of 50 retirement points. The applicant provides retirement point sheets for 1970 through 1971, 1972 through 1973, 1974 through 1975, and 1976 through 1977. His record is void of the remaining retirement point sheets. BOARD DISCUSSION: After reviewing the application and all supporting documents, the Board found the relief as not warranted. The applicant’s contentions were carefully considered. A review of his records shows HRC made the correction he seeks on 28 September 2016. Based upon this evidence, the Board agreed there is no need for a record correction. ?
