BOARD DETERMINATION/RECOMMENDATION:

The Board determined the evidence presented is sufficient to warrant a recommendation for relief.  As a result, the Board recommends that all Department of the Army records of the individual concerned be corrected by:

	a.  awarding the applicant the Army Good Conduct Medal for the period 5 February 1964 through 31 January 1966; and

	b.  adding to the applicant's DD Form 214 in:

		1)  item 26 –

* Vietnam Service Medal with two bronze service stars
* Presidential Unit Citation
* Meritorious Unit Commendation
* Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm Unit Citation 
* Republic of Vietnam Civil Actions Honor Medal First Class Unit Citation

		2)  item 32 – "Vietnam service 19 August 1965 through 18 January 1966."
