REFERENCES: 1. Army Regulation 600-8-22 (Military Awards) prescribes Army policy, criteria, and administrative instructions concerning individual and unit military awards. The AGCM is awarded to individuals who distinguish themselves by their conduct, efficiency, and fidelity. This period is 3 years except in those cases when the period for the first award ends with the termination of a period of active Federal military service. Although there is no automatic entitlement to the AGCM, disqualification must be justified. 2. Army Regulation 600-8-104 (Army Military Human Resource Records Management) provides policies, operating tasks, and steps governing the OMPF. Appendix B (Documents Required for Filing in the Army Military Human Resource Record and/or interactive Personnel Electronic Records Management System) shows award and amended award orders are filed in the performance folder of the OMPF. DISCUSSION: 1. In accordance with Army Regulation 600-8-22, the applicant met the eligibility criteria for award of the AGCM as follows: * 1st Award – 17 June 1996 through 16 June 1999 * 2nd Award – 17 June 1999 through 16 June 2002 * 3rd Award – 17 June 2002 through 16 June 2005 * 4th Award – 17 June 2005 through 16 June 2008 * 5th Award – 17 June 2008 through 16 June 2011 * 6th Award – 17 June 2011 through 16 June 2014 * 7th Award – 17 June 2014 through 16 June 2017 2. The evidence supports revoking and removing Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, U.S. Army Central, Permanent Orders 148-005, dated 28 May 2014, from her OMPF because the dates of the period of service are incorrect and appropriate replacement orders were subsequently issued. 3. The evidence supports revoking and removing Special Troops Battalion, 1st Sustainment Command (Theater), Orders 212-006, dated 31 July 2017, from her OMPF as it duplicates 412th Aviation Support Battalion Permanent Order 210-003, dated 29 July 2011. 4. The evidence supports removing Special Troops Battalion, 1st Sustainment Command (Theater), memorandum, dated 8 August 2017, recommending retroactive award of the AGCM (6th Award) from her OMPF. She was awarded the AGCM (6th Award) a week earlier in Special Troops Battalion, 1st Sustainment Command (Theater), Orders 212-007, dated 31 July 2017. 5. The applicant's request to remove Headquarters, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and Fort Campbell, Permanent Orders 334-00050, dated 30 November 1999; U.S. Army Combined Arms Support Command and Fort Lee Permanent Orders 180-00-038, dated 29 June 2005; and Headquarters, 3rd Squadron, 1st U.S. Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, Permanent Orders 345-010, dated 11 December 2008; from her OMPF was noted. However, the regulatory guidance states to file amended award orders in the performance section of the OMPF. //NOTHING FOLLOWS// ABCMR Record of Proceedings AR20150000953 Enclosure 1 ARMY BOARD FOR CORRECTION OF MILITARY RECORDS RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS ABCMR Record of Proceedings (cont) AR20170014688 2 ARMY BOARD FOR CORRECTION OF MILITARY RECORDS RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Enclosure 1 ABCMR Record of Proceedings (cont) AR20170014688 5 ARMY BOARD FOR CORRECTION OF MILITARY RECORDS RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Enclosure 2
