The applicant stated the amount of training showed on her DD Form 214 shows 11 month and 25 days. It should be 8 months. She left basic training on 7 October 2013 and left advanced individual training to her first duty station June 2014. 2. The applicant provides: a. A copy of her DD Form 214 showing her service from 7 October 2013 to 25 September 2015. b. A copy of NATO Travel Order Number 098-200, issued by Headquarters United States Army North (Fifth Army), Fort Sam Houston, TX, dated 8 April 2014. The order authorized travel to all NATO Countries. c. A copy of Orders Number 098-200, issued by Headquarters United States Army North (Fifth Army), Fort Sam Houston, TX, dated 8 April 2014. The orders assign the applicant to A Company, Troop Command LR, Landstuhl, Germany APO AE 09180 3. A review of the applicant's service record shows: a. She enlisted in the Regular Army on 7 October 2013. b. She reported for basic training at Fort Sill, OK, on 16 October 2013. c. She reported to advanced individual training at Fort Sam Houston, TX on 24 January 2014. d. She reported to her first duty station at C Company, Troop Command LR, Landstuhl, Germany APO AE 09180 on 30 September 2014. e. On 25 September 2015, she was transferred to the United States Army Reserves (USAR) under AR 635-200, Chapter 8, pregnancy or childbirth with a honorable character of service. Her DD Form 214 shows she completed 1 year, 11 months and 19 days of net service this period and she completed 11 months and 23 days of initial entry training. 4. By regulation, AR 635-8 (Separation Processing and Documents) the DD Form 214 is a summary of the Soldier’s most recent period of continuous active duty. It provides a brief, clear-cut record of all current active, prior active, and prior inactive duty service at the time of release from active duty, retirement, or discharge. The DD Form 214 is not intended to have any legal effect on termination of a Soldier’s service. Block 12h: Initial Entry Training. Enter the total amount of service time required to complete basic training, advanced individual training, or one station unit training, if that training occurred during the period of service covered on block 12c. When a Soldier did not complete one of these three training events during the current period of active duty enter “0000 00 00.” BOARD DISCUSSION: After reviewing the application and all supporting documents, the Board determined relief was not warranted. Based upon the assignment history reflected on the applicant’s ERB, the information currently reflected on the DD Form 214 is correct and warrants no correction.
