His State driver's license, 23 October 2020, and social security card, 30 October 2020, show his name as .BOARD DISCUSSION: After reviewing the application, all supporting documents, and the evidence found within the applicant's military records, the Board found that relief was warranted. The applicant's contentions, his military records, and regulatory guidance were carefully considered. The evidence provided contains a court-order showing the official name change. Therefore, the Board determined a change to the separation document is warranted.
