HQ, U.S. Army Infantry Center, Fort Benning Permanent Orders C0184,21 February 2003, mobilized him to Fort Benning, GA, deployed him to outside the Continental U.S. to overseas assignment Camp Doha, Kuwait in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and return. The effective date was 10 February 2003. c. Alpha Roster, 1208th Quartermaster Company, showing his name listed among Soldiers in his unit. d. HQ, U.S. Army Infantry Center, Fort Benning, releasing him from AD with an effective date of 3 May 2004, and return to 1208th Quartermaster Company, ARNG. 5.On 3 May 2004, he was honorably released from AD and transferred to control of the 1208th Quartermaster Company, Water Supply, ARNG. The Board carefully considered the applicant's record of service, documents submitted in support of the petition and executed a comprehensive and standard review based on law, policy and regulation. Although the applicant's record had insufficient evidence to show service in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and the applicant’s DD Form 214 already showed in block 18 (Remarks) the applicant was ordered to AD in Support of Operation Enduring Freedom, the Board determined the applicant’s record did not reflect authorized awards for the periods of his deployment. Based on this, the Board granted relief to award the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.
