EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The applicant contends that the narrative reason on his DD-214 from 2010 is in error. Per ALCOAST 562/08, the use "Convenience of 
Government" or "Unsuitability" are not considered as narrative reasons from the Separation Program Designator handbook.
Therefore, a separation summary may list (legacy Personnel Manual's 12-B-12) with Convenience of the Government in the Article/law, but it is 
not to be substituted, or used synonymously in block 28 of the DD-214 for Voluntary separations under the SPD code of KND, Separation for 
Miscellaneous/General Reasons.
Propriety:	Discharge was proper.
