In early 2013, the applicant received a DUI. Just 2 months later, the applicant was directed in an administrative remarks entry to cease further action with a prohibited relationship with another member on their assigned cutter (applicant was also married). Approximately 6 weeks after, the applicant violated this order and received Non-Judicial punishment. The command notified the applicant of the intent to Discharge in the Fall of 2013 due to two infractions within a two year period (meeting criteria for Pattern of Misconduct, I civil and I NJP). The applicant was not eligible for the Second Chance program. The applicant was notified of the intent to discharge, and the applicant was advised of the rights to an attorney.
