The applicant had a shipmate (with intent to mask or deceive results) take a paternity test for them to avoid parental responsibilities and further relations with a civilian. The applicant had a list of issues to include use of a CG workstation to engage in sexual and perverse content, insubordination, grooming and uniform issues, and disobeying general orders and regulations. Additionally, at Captain’s mast, the applicant challenged the offenses brought forth and demanded a Court Martial. All of the infractions occurred within a 7-month window. The Board finds no issues with propriety or equity in this case. The applicant was notified of the intent to discharge, and the applicant was advised of the right to an attorney. The applicant made a statement on his behalf. RECOMMENDATION: The Board members thoroughly reviewed the applicant’s record of service and all available documentation. The Board deemed that the applicant’s character of service and reenlistment code are appropriate and should not be changed.
