EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

The applicant was discharged on June 12, 2014, with an Honorable discharge due to Separation for 
Miscellaneous/General Reasons specifically due to Alcohol Abuse.

The Board finds no issues with propriety or equity in this case. The applicant received two alcohol incidents, 
then reverted back to an enlisted status, and was subsequently notified of the intent to discharge by the 
command.

The applicant waived the right to an administrative separation board in order to receive an Honorable discharge. 
The Board notes that the Separation for Miscellaneous/General Reasons (narrative reason) does not attach a 
categorical stigma. The Board has also reviewed the applicant's claim of the separation code of JND being 
associated with 'concealment of arrest record'. The description of the JND code has no relation to those actions.
