EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

The Applicant was discharged for Misconduct due to Commission of Serious Offense in the summer of 2015. 
The Board listened to verbal testimony from the Applicant and the parents of the applicant.
The Board finds no issues with propriety or equity in this case. No new evidence demonstrated any error of fact 
to refute the actions leading to the discharge.

The Applicant was notified of the intent to discharge, and the Applicant was advised of the right to an attorney. 
The Applicant made a statement on their behalf and objected to the discharge.

Additionally, the Board noticed that the Applicant received a General Discharge in Block 24 of the DD-214 for 
character of service. The Board recommends an administrative change to Under Honorable Conditions. The 
General discharge is correct, but is not a valid character of service entry.

Board Conclusion:	The Board voted 5-0 to recommend no relief. The Boards recommends an administrative 
correction to Under Honorable Conditions as per ALCOAST 562/08.
