DISCUSSION: The Applicant was separated under the Active Duty Workforce Management temporary 
separation program in. 

The basis of the applicant’s discharge was in relation to the Active Duty Workforce Management 
program, which was a temporary policy change based on the needs of the service. ALCGENL 046/10 was 
specifically an active duty workforce management initiative that allowed active duty enlisted personnel 
to voluntarily separate. The separation authority applied Convenience of the Government in accordance 
with the CG Personnel Manual, Article 12.B.12.A.6 (legacy manual), which is specific to the intent of the 
voluntary early separation policy allowing enlisted personnel to separate under various, i.e. 
miscellaneous/general reasons. 

The Board finds no issues with propriety or equity in this case.
