The Applicant's Character of Service is Honorable and the Narrative Reason for Separation is Unacceptable Conduct. The reason for the Applicant's separation was due to their failure to complete their performance probation after several deficiencies were noted and multiple Page 7's were completed. Between 04Feb2013 and 30Jul2013, The Applicant was noted as committing six (6) separate acts of unacceptable conduct. The Applicant was placed on a six (6) month probation to correct their behavior and conduct. The Applicant did not successfully complete their probationary period and was processed for discharge based on unsuitability due to inaptitude. The Applicant provided information and was seen at a Hospital for a head injury which they sustained in their berthing area. The Applicant is claiming a TBI in reference to the fall; however, they did not provide any further evidence or information which would substantiate their injury being diagnosed as a TBI. The Board has no issues with the propriety standard on this case. Propriety: Discharge was proper. Equity: Discharge was equitable.
