This is in r eference to your application for correction of your naval record pursuant to the provisions of 10 use 1552. 
A review of your application revealed that you reg:Uested Combat Related Special Compensation (CRSC) for your husband as a deceased service member. 10 use § 1413a (c) defines eligible combat-related disabled uniform services ret£ree as members of.the uniform services who are entitled to retired pay. Unfortunately, your husband does riot meet the statutory eligibility requirement for CRSC.since he is· no longer entitled to retired pay. The Board does not have the authority to grant compensation prohibited by statute. Accordingly, we are administratively closing your application. The Board appreciates your husband's service in the Navy and your sacrifices to our country.
