1. Pursuant to the provisions of reference (a} Subject, hereinafter referred to as Petitioner, f iled enclosure (1) wit h this Board requesting , i n effect, that the applicable naval record be corrected to ˇest ablish entitl ement t o a zone "A" Selective Reenlistment ˇBonus (SRB) . 
2 . The Board, reviewed Petitioner's allegations of error and inj ustice on 11 December 2015 and, pursuant to its regulations , determined that the corrective action indicated below should be taken on the available evidence of record. Documentary material considered by the Board consisted of the enclosures, naval records, and applicable statutes, regulations and policies. ˇ 
3. The Board, having reviewed all the facts of record pertaining to Petitioner's allegations of error and injustice, finds as follows : 
a. Before applying'to this Board, Petitioner exhausted all administrative remedies available under existing law and regulations within the Department of the Navy. 
b . In correspondence attached as enclosure (2), the office having cognizance over the subject matter addressed in Pet itioner' s appl ication has commented to the effect t hat the request has merit and warrants favorable action. 
CONCLUSION 
Upon review and consideration of all the evidence of record, and especially in light of the contents of enclosure (2), the Board finds the existence of an injustice warranting the following corrective act ion. 

RECOMMENDATION: 
That Petitioner's naval record be corrected, where appropriate, to 
show that: 

a . SRB requ~st was submitted and received by cognizant authority via OPINS/NSIPS 35 days in advance of t he Petitioner's requested reenlistment date; it was approved. Note: 'the Petitioner was discharged on 29 January 2015 and reenlisted on 30 January 2015. The term is 4 years. 

b. This change will entitle the Peti t ioner to a zone "A" SRB with an award level of i.O {30,000 dollar award ceiling) for the ~rate. Remaining obligated service to 29 March 2015 will be ~ucted from SRBˇcomputation. 

c . A copy of this Report of Proceedings will be filed l n 
Petitioner's naval record.
