Pursuant to the provisions of reference (a) Subject, hereinafter referred to as Petitioner, filed enclosure (1) with this Board requesting, in effect, that the applicable naval record be corrected to establish entitlement to payment of lump sum leave (LSL) . 2. The Board, reviewed Petitioner's allegations of error and injustice on. 23 November 2015 and, pursuant to its regulations, determined that the corrective action indicated below should be taken on the available evidence of record. Documentary material considered by the Board consisted of the enclosures, naval records, and applicable statutes, regulations and policies. 3. The Board, having reviewed all the facts of record pertaining to Petitioner's allegations of error and injustice, finds as follows: before applying to this Board, Petitioner exhausted all administrative remedies available under existing law and regulations within the Department of the Navy. CONCLUSION Upon review and consideration of all the evidence of record, the Board finds the existence of an injustice warranting the following corrective action. RECOMMENDATION: That Petitioner's naval record be corrected, where appropriate, to show that: a. The 6 year immedi ate reenlistment contract (NAVPERS 1070/601), executed on or about 28 August 2015, is modified to read: LSL sellback is "50.0" vice "00.0" b. In conjunction with his reenlistment on 28 August 2015, Petitioner requested and was approved to sell back 50 days leave. Note: Petitioner's leave bal ance will be reduced by 50 days, and he will be entitled to payment for 50 days of leave . c. A copy of this Report of Proceedings will be fil ed in Petitioner's naval record. 4.
