Pursuant to the provisions ofreference (a) Subject, hereinafter referred to as Petitioner, filed enclosure (1) with this Board requesting, in effect, that the applicable naval record be corrected to show reimbursement ofhousehold goods (HHG) move. 2. The Board, consisting of , reviewed Petitioner's allegations oferror and injustice on 9 January 2018 and, pursuant to its regulations, determined ,that the corrective action indicated below should be taken on the available evidence of record. Documentary material considered by the Board consisted ofyour application, together with all material submitted in support thereof, relevant portions of your naval record and applicable statutes, regulations and policies. 3. The Board, having reviewed all the facts ofrecord pertaining to Petitioner's allegations of error and injustice, finds as follows: Before applying to this Board, Petitioner exhausted all administrative remedies available under existing law and regulations within the Department of the Navy. CONCLUSION Upon review and consideration ofall the evidence ofrecord, the Board agrees that the Petitioner was misinformed by his case manager on when his case would be finalized. The Board finds the existence of an iajustice warranting the following corrective action. RECOMMENDATION That Petitioner's naval record be corrected, where appropriate, to show that: The Petitioner's BUPERS Orders was issued on " vice Note: The Petitioner must submit his personally procured move (PPM) claim and a copy ofthis Board for Correction ofNaval Records (BCNR) decision letter to the Household Goods Audit Team (HHG-AT) for adjudication. Furthermore, settlement of claim is chargeable to the line of accounting on the Petitioner's order number. A copy ofthis Report ofProceedings will be filed in Petitioner's naval record. 4.
